What ya been doing, rimfire?
Well, obviously not having as much fun as djmed.

Note: djmed is the turkey in the back
I got a chance to go turkey hunting Sunday at Stonewall Plantation. Fred and I went in the middle of the day. The wind was blowing about 25 mph. I was hiding by a big tree with some bushes around it thinking how stupid I was for being out in such ugly conditions. About the time I realized that turkeys live out here regardless of the weather, I look up and a turkey is standing in front of me about 22 steps away. I hadn't called much and I don't know wether he heard me or not over the howling wind. Better to be lucky than good, I suppose.

Get the Chihuahua’s out
We’re going rabbit hunting.
I suspect that djmed sent

If you use the IE browser
instead of FireFox, you might be wondering about the blank space below "Front Page" on the left bar.
I'm working on it. Visible in Fire Fox is a "badge", a collection of picture thumbnails with one that rotates and blows up for a second before rejoining the other thumbnails.
I didn't realize it wasn't visible in IE until someone told me. I use FireFox almost exclusively as I've been moving away from Microsoft products where possible and convenient

Aye aye Captain 3. Life jackets for all hands?
That’s a negatory, Mr. 2. A Captain must go down with his ship.
Aye, Captain. It’s been a pleasure serving with you. And might I add, it’s a brave thing that you’re doing….even if the water is only two and a half feet deep.

I see
that the Alabama Department of Natural Resources has teamed up with Auburn University's, School of Genetic Research.
It was announced while I was off loaf, er, I mean, doing maintenance on the 2+3 that the Fish and Game had previously given the School a ten million dollar grant to improve Small Game hunting in Alabama.
Today the School unveiled the initial results of it’s research with this genetically enhanced
