Gone to soak my blistered foot

GF and I are going to spend a few days fishing on the center console, the "2+3" in Apalachicola. We'll blow the horn as we pass through Dothan, BB.

We won't be back until sometime Tuesday. I'll have my laptop and verizon card with me, but I doubt that I will be in a broadband area. Plus, it's doubtful that ya'll be much on my mind anyway. Unless I need to brag some.. lol

The weather coming down to Apalachicola was nice. A bit cloudy with occasional lovebug flurries.

GF waited till we got to Port St Joe before telling me that she turned down tickets to the LSU Auburn football game Saturday night. Serves her right that the house in Apalachicola doesn’t have espn and the only radio station that was broadcasting it was mixed in with a Mexican station.

Captain Brownie reports that his boat caught 150 trout today, mostly white but some small specks. Now, Captain Brownie is a guide which made most of what he told me suspect, but I had it independently confirmed when I asked at a local store if any fish were caught today. That probably explains why he gave me only vague generalities about the location
