Where did you get the misters an the line?Never have seen anything like it.Annie is getting rather rotund,I don't see how she will last till sept.3.Do you think the mister lines would hurt puppies? I'm hopeing the heat will break by then.Have you heard anything about your Lymes disease? One of my running buddies had a heart cath done on monday.Haven't heard anything except that the EKG showed a previous heart attack.

All of the "girls" were suspicious of the misters, at first. Now they are ambivalent, except for Lucy, who's love for water filled tire tracks, now thinks that it's great.
I don't have them where they cover the entire pen, only a nice section. You don't want your dogs constantly wet. Puppies I don't know about.
I used some that were made by Arizona Misters that I bought in a closeout sale at one of the local mega-home improvement stores. A quick google showed that they are still available. I did find this link that shows how to improvise your own system. I'm not sure how it will work though.

Lyme? I get tested again in Oct. The pains and such have subsided though I did have a few flareup the first week off the antibiotics. My attention span (as witnessed by my lame writing lately) seems to quite short.
They stinted my heart about 2 and a half years ago (no heart attack, just a clogged artery) and I seem to be having no problems. A echo cardiogram to check on the Lyme showed no heart problems.
Suzie seems like she is going to be a good addition to the pack despite the bad eye. We think that we will breed her to a neighbors beagle. She is so new that we don't know her cycle yet, but we're hoping for late Jan, early Feb.Posted by rimfire at 08/15/07 06:57:55
