The Rabbit Journal Tales

Brag came out

on his lunch hour today. He must have one heck of a lunch break to come all the way out here from DownTown Columbus.
I decided to put the dogs out on the pasture rabbit despite it being so hot and late in the day.

The Girls (and Sammie) couldn't find him. To tell you the truth, after about twenty minutes, I don't think they were trying very hard.

I, also, heard from One Dawg today. Nothing much, just catching up on everybody.

Plunker is in Michigan for a niece's graduation. He and his wife, Miz Plunker decided to make it a vacation.

I talked to djmed yesterday. He's looking for a bluesman. Yeah, he likes that kind of music as I do but he wants somebody to blue a gun for him. I also talked him into taking a kitten. One left.

BB says he's been picking watermelons for his dad. Sounds like a good move on his dad's part considering how much they charge at the supermarket. What kind, bb? Did he have a good crop? Ask him if he's ever heard of a terrace watermelon that they used to plant on the terraces in the field to prevent erosion.

Dustin, Cuz's grandson and a former teat, (he's graduated from HS. Dang time flies) is eager to run the dogs. He has a puppy and a older dog that needs some running time

Speaking of Dustin, Cus and Rye are hanging out in the air conditioning as elder sportsmen tend to do

We had our first rain shower in weeks last night. Might get a little more today. We certainly need it. The pond is holding it's on, but we're not making any grass in the pastures.

I gave the "aunties" some frontline. I'm still waiting for the overseas company I order from to send the puppies.
