out here at Rabbit Run. The pastures are dry and brittle after only a slight shower we had a few days ago.
Then two nights ago, I went to Cuz's house for a few minutes and it started raining as I pulled onto hwy 80. It rained all the way there and then all the way back till I was less than a mile from Rabbit Run when it quit. Not a drop at Rabbit Run

GF and I decided to take 2's new toy, a 24 foot pontoon party barge, out for a spin from it's slip at it's home port of Florence yesterday evening. I call her "Why?" while 2 calls her "Why Knot"
This morning, I got a rather snide note for the Seale Fireman who asked "Hey Chuck, you didn't watch that redneckin Weather Watch to close did you?" and included a couple of pics.




We will ignore the fact that someone had to take the pics and the "who" obviously didn't take a peak at redneckin's Weather Watch either.

Last night, GF and I went to sleep to the sounds of thunder.

This morning, I took Samuel P. Thumbsucker and his sister, Sissy in for their rabies shots. I avoid paying the rather inflated fees for puppy shots by giving them myself, but the state of Alabama in their infinite wisdom decided that we need to pay a vet to give the rabies shots. I'm looking for Goat Hill to decide pass the "Alabama Full Veterinarian employment Act and Revenue Enhancement Act" and outlaw such money saving tactics in the future.
Anyway, all the way to town, I saw puddles of water, but still not a drop at Rabbit Run
