A refresher

Processing the pictures.
Pictures must be processed for the web so that they take up less space, take less time to download for a reader with a dialup, use less bandwidth. Remember I pay for this site, so lets keep it user and wallet friendly.
When you download the pictures from your camera into your computer be sure to make use of folders, and folders within folders.
For instance, you might have a folder named "Rabbit Hunts 08".
Within that folder, you might have a folder " 4 oct 08 rimfire plunker Brag redman first rabbit"

Cull the bad pics.

Programs to resize the pictures
Programs are a matter of taste, but the pictures should be resized to 320 width by 240 height.

I have used Microsoft Digital Imaging. It's ok.
But I prefer a FREE batch resizer that you can download for FREE.
Download and follow directions.
99.9% of my pictures are 320x240. Once in a blue moon I use what I refer to as a medium to bring out some details. These are 480x340
DO NOT UPLOAD FULL SIZED PICTURES

I will create you a folder for your pictures that is labeled by your login name
All your pics go into this folder or subfolders. Remember to give your pictures descriptive names, but right now, I have a plugin that shows thumbnails of what is in your folder

Posting.
I will give you a login name, that you want. It will be your posting persona.
You will select a password, that I will use to set up your account.

I can "talk" you through any process you don't understand. I use verizon, so I prefer to use the phone only with other verizon users. Minutes, you know?
If we are on at the same time, we can talk by email or IM if I know which one.
I will talk you through installing and using the free software for pictures if need be
