Fishing was pretty good this morning.
We kept 9 speckled trout and about forty white trout
Can you say "fish fry"?

Lost my prime training pup to parvo last night. The vet said that he tested negative for parvo but there was a new strain that had all the obvious symptoms of parvo but the test couldn't pick it up. The Vet also said the new strain "c" I believe she called it, was alot more aggresive and took the victim faster than normal. Mufasa made a litte longer than 24hours after showing the first signs of not feeling well. The vet says the preventive vaccine seems to work on the new strain, but once a dog gets the new version she hasn't seen one survive yet. Don't drag your feet getting those shots to the pups!

Sorry for your loss Thinwater. My prayers are with you.I hope that none of your other hounds suffer from this. That parvo is some bad stuff.

Sorry about the pup, I know it hurts.

Preventive medicine might make a good post. The search engine on this site doesn't do comments. A post would make it easier to find
